Resurrection

Hope you all had a nice easter. As planned earlier, i did go to houston to my bro's to spent a nice warm easter weekend with family. About Houston, the place is like an Indian movie set. You fins everything very Indian here. Now by Indian, I mean East Indian and not the native Indians that you find in the US of A. I know that the term 'desi' does avoid thsi confusion but i somehow dont like that word...desi...sounds pretty chic.. but nah..Nothing personal, but you tend to find a looot of malayalees(a.k.a. mallus) in this place. I'll send u the links for the pics in some time but lemme share my xperiences in teh second country i visited in the US, Sacramento, CA being the first.

My flight from Seattle was dot on time, not to mention that it was a Boeing 747, one of the best sellers from the Boeing stable. For the record, Boeing is my client now ! It was a direct flight to Houston. The very happening thing in the flight was that i felt like a 'stag' who had entered a club that had only couple entry. Boy..the flight was filled with couples atleast 86% of it...and that too young ones. damn. there was so much testasterone in that Boeing 747 and I was left in the very small group that had no oestrogen comin in to neutralize all the testosterone. But every cloud has its silver lining. I had a nice cute lookin fawn sitting next to me. Dont get me wrong man...but this girl was real smart n we talked a lot. She was in her 4th grade :) I repeat...plz dont get me wrong after all that mention of testosterone n stuff...This is not the silver lining i was mentioning...she, coincidentally had an elder sister in the very same flight who was a teenager(19 years of age...atleast thats what the little girl told me..and it just popped up in one of our conversations...thats all) This teenager was mindblowingly beautiful and curvy...rather my testosterone levels went hyper while she exchanged seats with her little sister for the latter half of the flight. To add to the heat, she had a very thick magazine - of all magazines, the 'Sports Illustrated' that had Beyonce in a bikini on its cover. I would've had atleast 18 chewing gums during that flight. The best part was that i had the aisle seat and she was in the seat in the middle(not the window) and everytime she got out n came to her seat, this little tatoo(some damn design) just peeps out of her back. maaaan...that is one awesome sight for sore eyes.wow! My eyes were really sore at the end of the flight.

ok...finally we reached Houston and parted ways.

My bro was there to pick me up n we left for home. We caught up on some things during the 40 minute drive to our abode. The next day, we(me n bro) went to this place College Station that has the Texas A&M university. That was where my bro did his masters and I should say its an awesome university. It humongous both in size n what domains it covers. Also they have really wonderful customs n a rich heritage. The buildings too are majestic, the stadiums are one of the largest in the US of A if not the world and their galleries are jsut breathtaking. Couldnt spent too much time there as it got dark fast. Finally had some texan spirits nad we headed for home where a sumptous meal was in the offing, courtesy, bhabhi.
The next day, rather afternoon was spent at home n some sight seeing in n around Houston. We had a small get together n dinner n poker that nite at a friends place. That was also a wonderful nite to remember. As mentioned earlier, the pics will be uploaded soon. I learnt the basics of poker that nite. Interesting game..rather addictive.

The Sunday was Easter sunday and like any other God fearing good hearted innocent Christian, i did spent some time in Church. We kinda talked abt our stuff n bid adieu. Lunch was again awesome...mallu ishtyle. my taste buds had a wonderful time enjoying themselves. Also we had the Australia vs England match. That evening I watched a movie called Old School. A rather interesting movie if i might say. Lotsa hilarious moments - slapstick comedy with some levels of nudity. Parental advisory is suggested though.

And it was time to leave Houston to embark upon my new adventures in Seattle. I had a night flight and it had a stopover too. I left Hpuston at around 2200 hrs local time. Just crashed in the flight for most of the time. The stop over was for like 45 minutes but insin city...and u know...that is more that enuf time to get a first hand shake with a lot of sins in the world. It is aninteresting observation fro the flight itself. For most of the time inthe air from Houston, if we look down fromteh window, we dont actually get to see anything other than pitch darkness and ocassional brightness if we pass over some city. But once it reaches Las Vegas, the whole area just brightens up . like suddenly it sa huge area that is so brightly lit up that it feels like u r waling onthe streets. The various illuminations n designs are so huge n visible from that height. Awesome view. The airport itseelf is a huge casino...just that they have these airline counters in between them. the crowd is also totally sinful. DAMN ! You find all sorts of them there... I'll stop it at that. Too much variety to write about :)

Finally the connection flight took off from sin city to Seattle and here i am writing abt it from office. need to catch up on some sleep n so im leaving for the day. take care ..
