Beast on Wheels
ladies n gentlemen, its been a while in the US now and me thought i wud share a few glorious moments of my ever so eventful life @!
neways, glad to let u all know that i have successfully settled down in the US now and am pretty used to the American way of life now. its surprising to know that i use words like "glad" n "excuse me" instead of great, happy n sorry etc...damn..i even at times show my surprise by phrases like "Sweet mother of God/Jesus", "holy cow" that one cud be coz i eat a lot of beef here :) the whole point is that one does get influenced by this style of life n the customs here in one way or the other.
the latest thing that has me excited is me gettin a drivers license in my first shot. seems that is a commendable achievement here. it was fun. the written test n the driving test and the whole process itself was pretty eventful. over here these guy shave a "champak" to study for the online test but it snot an open book test though. its pretty easy in fac...quite logical answers. several points especially the ones on driving under the influence of alcohol were real eye openers. neways i did kinda upload them ino my thick skull n went for the driving test. it was a friday morning. there is this guy from whom i took a couple of hours of lessons on getting familiar with the american ways of driving. he told me the usual procedures inthese driving tests. there are 2 good examiners n 3 evil ones. in case u get the evil ones, no matter how good u r the first time, they just fail u for the heck of it...n i ended up with one of those cute friendly old good guys n passed on the first attempt. my score card was pretty much filled with his 'suggestion' on how i cud 'improve' my driving skills. i wear if it was neone else i wud've failed miserably. neways i passed with flying colors n am on the lookout for a beast on 4 wheels - this wud definitely help me in improving my PR here and its kinda necessity in the US da. like it makes u independent to a huge extent and who knows wats waiting for u just around the next corner...cud be a nice meal ;)
also my interior decorative skills are way better now..imagine...my kitchen has utensils, shelves actually have stuff on them for a change, i even gotta microwave...sweet mother of Jesus(there...i just said it !!!) hehe.
weekends are still to be kicked off in ishtyle..not that they r dry..but there is some zing missing which i presume will be back once my beast comes to life :P it does play a very impt part in adding color n vigour to my night life.
